Reallllly need to be careful what I say sometimes...

So allright, I do not ever cuss in front of my son, and am pretty good about not saying things in general that could go south when repeated by a 3 year old.

Welp, tonight was different. We were all watching Dora as a family, and that darn Swiper came and stold the railroad tracks so the train had to stop, did the evil laugh, and says his classic "You'll NEVER find them now! heh heh heh!" At this point, I have clearly had enough of Swipers schenanigans, I look at my husband and I say "Swiper is SUCH d-bag." To which my sweet little inncoent baby says "Yeah Swiper is just a d-bag."

And I proceeded to bury my face in a pillow and LMAO as my husband tells my son that mommy is '"real mature".

Agreed.

And yes, I pulled myself together long enough to say "Now don't say that, it wasn't nice, mommy shouldn't have said that. I'm sorry."

And again buried my face to laugh.

  3. well, i'm glad i decided to G-rate the comment and say "d-bag", bc i strongly contemplated saying 'douche", knowing my kid doesn't know what that means, but i also had a strong feeling it might come back to bite me in the ass...

i will also add that while my child was SITTING on the floor at the mall today, refusing to get up and walk, in my head i was screaming "JUST FUCKING WALK!!" but it came out like this "Fine. I'm leaving and if you don't follow you will spend the night in this mall all by yourself, and you will miss trick or treat tonight. Don't think I won't." And as I walked away, the little nugget got up and ran after me, was silent and held my hand all the way to the car. lol

  5. OMG, that is hysterical. We are really starting to have to try to watch it with our 16 month old. He's trying to repeat things we day and it would be just my luck that he would call my mom a slut or something because he heard my shouting it about someone on tv. ah ha ha
